Cape Journey of Hope
Is there a place where I can
share my hurts; a listener?

The purpose of this website has two considerations:
1. To help anybody who seeks Peace and the direction already skillfully designed for them.
2. Wanting to be obedient to the Great Commission (Making Disciples) assisting people to know Peace and Purpose despite common or unique road blocks. This is through continued training, learning of and using their gifts for aiding other people.
The authority on which CJOH speaks is the Bible. It is as pertinent and consistent today as the over 1500 years when it was given to the many writers and people.
This “authority” is not given to be critical, denominational, ritualistic, entertaining or simply educational. It is there to be leading to a change our lives to healthy, forgiven, renewed people able to confront challenges given to each one.
And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 GNT
JOIN OUR DAILY ZOOM
Here is the information you need to join the Lectio Divina daily Zoom meeting at 6 a.m., except on Sundays:
Listening to the Father will involve a prayerful reading of the Scripture of the day.
https://us06web.zoom.us/j/2736618355?pwd=5xY7bdCHJ3RygOPG2oeDwbvHa77Ytd.1
Meeting ID: 273 661 8355
Passcode: j6piQe
0700a after the 6 a.m. prayerful reading=Lectio Divina, there will be a time for those who seek "private "Barnabas-type" encouragement to join the same Zoom connection.
We need your email address also to invite you to participate in this private conversation and prayer.
On Sundays, we encourage you to seek other Scriptural fellowship for either or both encounters.
Please give our coordinators, Ray Bell or Bertrand Stevens Duncan, the names and email addresses of those you invite for either or both of these meetings.
We want to leave you with this quote from Luke 9:23-24, where Jesus said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him DENY himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it."
Teach me to listen, Holy Spirit, for your voice;
in busyness and boredom,
in certainty and doubt,
in noise and silence.
Teach me, Lord, to listen. Amen.
